Course Prerequisites:                                                   None

 

Course Goal:

To teach the basic knowledge and skills and to explain the attitude necessary for the safe handling and storage of guns in the home.

 

Who Should Take This Course:

Anyone not familiar with firearms or firearms safety rules and practices.

 

Course Overview:

 

I.                 Rules for Safe Gun Handling

II.            Identifying and Unloading Different Firearms

III.        Practical Exercise in Safe Gun Handling

IV.        Types of Ammunition; Cleaning and Storage of Firearms
