Cowboy Action Shooting
Cowboy Action Shooting is a competitive sport that uses the guns and costumes of the late 1800's.
We dress in period correct costume or as our favorite western movie character and shoot steel targets with firearms designed before 1900.
We shoot various scenarios with a rifle, shotgun, and 2 single action revolvers
The Butcher Butte Bunch meets during the summer on the second Sunday of the month with registration open at 9:00 AM and the Mandatory Safety Meeting starting 10:00 AM.
Shooting usually takes about 3 hours and we serve a light lunch while the scores are calculated.
The Fenton Lakes Sportsmans Club Cowboy Division is affiliated with State and National organizations
