Fenton Lakes Sportsman’s Club is a private non-profit membership club.

  1. THIS is a “Family” membership that includes the member, his or her spouse and all minor children (under 21 years of age) living at home.  These family members are not required to pay an additional fee to use the club’s facilities except for using the “Sporting Clays” course and the “3-D Archery” course.
  2. All membership applications must be approved by a vote of the “Board of Directors”.   Board meetings take place on the secondTuesday of each month at 7:00 PM.
  3. A student participating in our “Junior Rifle” program does not need to be a member of the club.
  4. When applications are approved by the “Board”, the new member will be contacted for “New Member Orientation”.   Only approved members and their immediate family members may attend “New Member Orientation”.  Attendance is not optional for the named person on the membership application.  Additional qualifing family members may also attend.
  5. “New Member Orientations” are normally scheduled monthly on specified Wednesday evenings.
  6. Orientation dates and times are shown on the club’s web calendar at www.fentonlakes.com.
  7. Use of the Indoor Range 24/7 is a privilege, not a requirement of membership.  (.17 and.22LR) are the only approved rifle cartridges allowed on the indoor range.
  8. "New Member Orientations" are available to all current members at any time.  If a significant period of time has gone by since a member has completed an orientation, it may be very good to attend and become familiar with all the changes in recent years.

 

 Message to new members about scheduling orientations:

  1. “New Member Orientation” is designed to acquaint new members with all relevant information regarding club membership.
  2. Attendance at “New Member Orientation” is NOT optional.
  3. Rules for club membership are presented and codified.
  4. Every member and non-member who wishes to use the club’s facilities must sign a legal “Indemnification and Release Agreement”.
  5. Any person unwilling to sign the agreement will be denied membership and or use of the club’s facilities.
  6. New members must exhibit safe gun handling practices in a live shooting exam to receive access to the indoor range 24/7.
  7. Orientations are scheduled regularly, normally on a Wednesday or Thursday evening and posted on the club’s website calendar.
  8. Scheduling orientations depends on indoor range availability, instructor availability and many other factors.
