Students can satisfy MI CPL renewal requirements by auditing our standard CPL (NRA Personal Protection in Home) class. A stand alone renewal class may be offered if demand is high.

3+ Hours
Minimum 3 hours course review plus 1 hour live fire range time.
Course Length
Michigan requires an applicant to complete a minimum three hours of course review and a minimum of one hour live fire range time anytime within the six month period occurring prior to submitting your renewal application. Students auditing our standard CPL class will, at a minimum, attend the LEGAL lesson and participate in the range live fire exercises. Attendance for all remaining lessons is encouraged and allowed.
Course Prerequisites
Student must possess either a currently valid MI CPL or a MI CPL that is not expired for more than 12 months.
Students with a CPL expired more than 12 months are required by law to retake the entire class. No discount is offered when CPL is expired for more than 12 months.
