Minimum 6 students, maximum 12 students per class for personalized instruction.

Includes both classroom instruction and range time learning to shoot.

About the Course

NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting is designed to provide a broad introduction to the safe handling and proper use of multiple pistol action types. This course is seven hours long and includes both classroom and range time.

Students Will Receive

Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook

NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting course completion certificate

Class Procedures

Students will be required to bring their own gun. If borrowing a gun, it must be transported by the owner or a CPL holder.

Should you not have a pistol, email FLSCGunTeacher@FentonLakes.com and we will attempt to provide a loaner pistol for the class.

Guns and ammunition are to be kept locked up in your car until required by the instructor.

Bring a minimum of 100 rounds. Magnum rounds are not allowed on the indoor range! Please review the FLSC Range Rules for allowed calibers.
